Staff were very friendly, downside, oil change took far too long as it was a “while you wait” job, 2 1/2 hours. Car was cleaned after so some time can be removed for that but still the waiting was not good.

I recently purchased an Audi TT from Chariots and I can honestly say that I would definitely buy another car from them and thoroughly recommend them. We all know the stigma which lies around car sales but none of that here… there was no pressure or hard sell, we weren’t rushed or anything they were happy for us to wander round the showroom at our own pace.They are trustworthy – if they said they would do something they would do it – the ‘wheel man’ was taken ill with COVID and couldn’t do the wheels in time – they were straight on the phone to inform me and happy for me to collect the car as planned then do the wheels as soon as he was well again and returned to work – which they have done without any question whatsoever.They communicated really well and kept us upto date with developments and were very responsive to any questions.They are reliable – they said they were going to do something and they did it.Since buying the car I decided to buy a personalised number plate so I messaged Louis and bless him he was on holiday abroad but he took the time out of his holiday to message Jess in the Service team to speak to me – Jess then kindly sorted everything out – again another example of going above and beyond.I look forward to taking my TT back for it’s next service – if only to say hi to everyone and enjoy one of their lovely Italian coffees – thanks Franco!

UPDATEChariots Specialist Cars just rang regarding the issue. It turned out it is just misunderstanding and i am glad but suprised that they agreed to do the refund. I appreciate their willingness to get the issue sorted even though it was almost 10 months ago!!! Genuine genuine nice dealer and i do apologize for any inconvenience caused.I was looking for a mini coupe JCW the other day and i saw these guys selling one at a reasonbly good price. After looking at the comment for this dealer. I thought they were genuine and i left a 99 GBP deposit to secure the car ( the dealer said the deposit is refunable). Later on i found out the car had done over 30k miles without proof of service in the past and i contacted the dealer saying the details he provided was misleading (he claimed the car has Full service history). I then request for a refund as the deal did not seem to be good anymore. The dealer just decided to ignore me since then even i gave them several calls and emails.

Considering our company have moved away from Mercedes to Toyota in regards to company cars the lease company (Athlon) will not use the local Toyota dealership they directed me toward Chariots for my first service.As i have only used main dealers in the past i must admit i was a little apprehensive in going to a another dealership more so with a year old car rather than the main dealership but i shouldn’t have worried…The service level i got was fantastic and they very kindly allowed me a courtesy car during the service, this was also a well welcomed surprise as i was given a Mini Cooper fully loaded which was a nice touch and one that i was not expecting.Left the car with Chariots all day and collected my car later in the day all lovely and clean (It was in a bad way prior as it hadn’t been washed in months) also hoovered out as well so was really impressed.Needless to say if you don’t want to use a main dealer then i would strongly recommend Chariots which I’m also considering as i have my own car which will require servicing next year.

I’ve always maintained my own cars since I was around 12. One of my 4 is a 1997 Camaro Z28 (V8) and at 54, decided I was going to drive it, not fix it. It’s awkward, not much space and parts are hard to find. I looked around for some capable hands to do the job for me?. So far MOT, service, and a few bits like brakes and bushes. Been really pleased. I am fed up with, and no offense to any one at all, but plumbers, electricians and mechanics etc trying to make a science out of tribal knowledge … something you know if you’ve done it before. Firstly, about me … I’m choosy, very choosy. I’ve had over thirty cars over the years and met some “not so good” dealers. I’m also an engineer so understand what’s tripe and what’s true. I spotted a car at Chariots and decided to travel for over two hours to go and see it. I’d never heard of Chariots Cars previously. On arriving I was met with courtesy, professionalism and made welcome. I spent some time looking around … the showroom, public areas and hospitality areas are spotless and the cars in breathtaking condition. Even the cars parked outside were kept spotlessly clean and presentable. After a quick chat with Franco and Luke my car was brought round for inspection to see if I approved. My own car was appraised and I knew we were going to do the business. I left feeling confident I’d made a good decision. A few days later after my car was serviced and valeted it was delivered to me, at home. Andy had driven through bad weather to deliver my car, and thus it was slightly soiled, but hey … nobody’s fault. The following morning I got it out gave it a quick snowfoam and pressure wash … and it was amazing. The car looked stunning, and I mean stunning. As an assistant manager of a busy day nursery in Kettering, we got in touch with Chariots to see if 10 children could go and visit their showroom. The theme of the nursery this week was transport so we thought this would be a great opportunity for them to look at different types of vehicles. Chariots were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make the children’s visit enjoyable. Not very good experience at first, not due to the quality of the cars they are selling but was the organisation. Seller werent able to check a bank transfer by themselves which occurs me to wait 2 days to get the car I bought during the weekend.The good thing is that your voice is heard. I have made a complain and got straight away call back regarding the review given on the website. And telling me that they already ordered a new bank system to improve this lack.Good job guys!

I would just like to say the previous reviewer clearly didn’t speak to any of the staff at chariots, my wife and I purchased a BMW 1 series last week and collected this morning. We where met with a smile and a hand shake by the sales manager Nick who dealt with us from start to finish and did not fail to impress us at any point of transaction he kept informed as the car went through there “preparation process” as Nick called it. The rear tyres where changed as promised and the service was completed as it was due in December. Fabulous service from Franco and the team. Arrived Sunday lunchtime and Franco gave us his undivided attention for the whole afternoon. Agreed a sale and collected new car (with customised wheels and front grill) 5 days later. I purchased a Range Rover Sport last week and part exchanged my car. I have to say that I paid a fair price for the RRS and received a fair price for my trade in car. I dealt mainly with Franco Santoro who was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the car I was interested in. Franco had no problem answering all my questions and queries quickly (I’m very demanding!) both over the phone as well as in person. I also dealt with Luke who managed the handover and paperwork and he was also very helpful throughout.My review is also based on the whole ‘Customer Experience’ that is important and often ignored such as: an amazing showroom, a friendly welcome from the reception staff, immaculate cleanliness throughout, inside and out, as well as the servicing and repair areas, a follow up telephone call after a few days by Franco to check that everything was alright with the new car, proper fresh bean to cup coffee rather than vending machines, plenty of customer parking unlike all the other showrooms visited where I had to double park or wait ages for a space to be freed………..yes, this is all important and I’m comparing all the above with the other 5 large dealer showrooms that I visited in the last three weeks when searching for a car where the service was just OK!.I would recommend Chariots Specialist Cars whether buying a car or using them to service / repair one.P.S. Bought 2 cars from Chariots, VW & a Mercedes C180 and they are both in top quality standard, prices reasonable as well. Atmosphere, presentation and service exceptional.
